GATHERING ROOTS WELLNESS PROVIDED WEEKLY PROGRAMING STARTING IN 2020 WHICH FOCUSED ON HELPING PEOPLE COPE WITH COVID19 STRESSORS. THE PROGRAMS INCLUDED: YOGA - WEDNESDAYS, AFRICAN DANCE - 2 CLASSES THURSDAYS, MEDITATION -SATURDAYS. WE ALSO DEVELOPED COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS WITH AFRICAN AMERICAN HEALTH BOARD AND COVID 19 MUTUAL AID SEATTLE, TUBMAN CENTER FOR HEALTH & FREEDOM, AND BIPOC VACCINE MUTUAL AID. FOR OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH COVID19 MUTUAL AID SEATTLE, WE PRODUCED AND DELIVERED OVER TEN THOUSAND (10,000) MASKS TO BLACK, INDIGENOUS, AND OTHER POC WORKERS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND FAMILIES.
