SOW AMERICA STARTED SIGNING MEMBERS UP FOR THEIR COMPOST PICKUP MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM DESIGN IS SIMILAR TO THAT OF A ROUTINE GARBAGE COLLECTION ROUTE HOWEVER INSTEAD OF PICKING UP GARBAGE WE PICK UP COMPOST LAID OUT BY OUR MEMBERS. WHEN MEMBERS SIGN UP THEY RECEIVE A BUCKET AND ARE EDUCATED ON THE TYPES OF ITEMS THAT WE ACCEPT FOR COMPOSTING AND A SCHEDULE SHOWING WHEN WE WILL COME AROUND TO COLLECT THE COMPOST.
