D3 SAW THE NEED FOR AN ART AWAKENING IN THEIRCOMMUNITIES TO STRENGTHEN THE CULTURAL ROOTS OF ITSINHABITANTS. EVERY DAY, D3 WAKES UP TO USE ART ANDCULTURE TO ALLOW PEOPLE TO RECOVER THEIR TRUE SELVES. D3BELIEVES INDIVIDUALS ARE CONSTANTLY REDISCOVERING ANDRECOVERING IDENTITIES, SOME THAT HAVE BEENSYSTEMATICALLY STRIPPED AWAY.AS A NONPROFIT FOCUSED ON COMMUNITY HEALTH, D3PROVIDES PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT WILL FACILITATERECOVERY FOR THOSE THAT NEED IT, A SUPPORTIVECOMMUNITY FOR THOSE WHO LACK IT, AND GROWTH FOR ALL.

WE HAD ABOUT 5,000 PEOPLE COME TO ALL OUR EVENTS AND WE WORKED WITH ABOUT 425 PEOPLE THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS. WE SECURED A BUILDING AND THE FUNDING TO PAY FOR IT. WE HAD FIRST FRIDAY ART SHOWS EVERY MONTH. HOSTED SWEAT LODGES. HAD SUCCESSFUL BIG EVENTS LIKE CINCO DE MAYO, MIKAILHUITL, FRIDA KAHLO, AND A NEW FREEDOM RECOVERY WEEKEND, MADE LOTS OF CRUCIAL PARTNERSHIPS.
