WAM IMPACT PARTNERS DESIGNED THE PROGRAMMATIC EXPERIENCE WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF EXPERTS, PARTNERS, AND ADDITIONAL RESEARCH. MODULES WERE CREATED DURING THIS TIME. THE SCOPE AND SEQUENCE IS NOW ALIGNED WITH SCHOOL BASED PRACTICES DUE TO THIS CULTIVATED EXPERT DRIVEN RESEARCH. WE ADVANCED THE PROGRAM BEYOND THIS POINT BY INCLUDING SCHOOL VISITS AND INTERVIEWS WITH PRACTITIONERS IN A MULTITUDE OF STATES AND VARIOUS PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND MENTORSHIP ORGANIZATIONS. THE FOCUS THERE WAS ON EXISTING EXPERIENCES WITH OUR DECISION MAKERS TO ADD TO THOUGHT LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNITY BUILDING IN THE FOLLOWING YEAR.
STARTING THIS ENDEAVOR MEANT BUILDING FROM THE GROUND UP, RESEARCHING WHAT WE NEEDED AND HOW TO BEST SERVE OUR EVENTUAL AUDIENCE WHICH WOULD BE LEARNERS IN 5-12TH GRADE. WE NEEDED TO HIRE CONSULTANTS TO RESEARCH THE LATEST SEL DEVELOPMENTS, HOW TO CAPTURE DATA,
ATTENDED VARIOUS CONFERENCES, MEETINGS WITH PROTENTIAL DONORS AND PLATFORM USERS. THIS LINE WAS ALSO USED TO CONVENE CONSULTANTS PLAN OUT QUARTERLY AND YEARLY GOALS. ATTENDING THESE CONFERENCES AND BUILDING A NAME WAS ESSENTIAL IN LEARING WHAT WOULD BE MOST HELPFUL FOR EDUCATORS AS THEY NAVIGATE THE NEEDS OF 5-12TH GRADE LEARNERS, AS WELL AS TO ATTRACT POTENTIAL DONORS AND TALENT.
