PENN STATE HEALTH LANCASTER MEDICAL CENTER ('PSHLMC') WAS FORMED TO PROMOTE HEALTH THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF AN ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL AND THE PROVISION OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES IN LANCASTER, PENNSYLVANIA. PSHLMC WILL GIVE RESIDENTS OF LANCASTER AND YORK COUNTIES ADDITIONAL ACCESS TO PENN STATE HEALTH'S EXPERTISE AND SPECIALTY SERVICES WITHOUT HAVING TO MAKE THE DRIVE TO HERSHEY.
