THE BROAD TOP AREA MEDICAL CENTER, A FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CENTER, IS A COMMUNITY-BASED AND PATIENT-DIRECTED ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE HIGH QUALITY PRIMARY HEALTH CARE AND PREVENTATIVE CARE SERVICES TO PERSONS OF ALL AGES, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY. THE CENTER FUNCTIONS IN A MEDICALLY UNDERSERVED AREA THAT HAS A HEALTH PROFESSIONAL SHORTAGE WELCOMING LOW INCOME, UNINSURED, AND UNDERINSURED POPULATIONS OF THE SERVICE AREA. SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL WITH A SLIDING FEE SCALE BASED ON ABILITY TO PAY (HOUSEHOLD SIZE AND INCOME) FOR THOSE WHO LIVE AT 200% OR BELOW OF THE FEDERAL POVERTY GUIDELINES. THE CENTER PARTICIPATES IN THE 340B DRUG PRICING PROGRAM TO PROVIDE DISCOUNTS ON OUTPATIENT PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.
