THE JACKSON GENERAL HOSPITAL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT PROVIDES ACUTE CARE SERVICES FOR PATIENTS OF ALL AGES, 24 HOURS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, 365 DAYS A YEAR. WITH A LEVEL IV TRAUMA CENTER, ADULT AND PEDIATRIC PATIENTS ARE SEEN FOR ANY CARDIAC, RESPIRATORY, TRAUMA, OR GENERAL MEDICINE ISSUES. THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT IS STAFFED BY PHYSICIANS AND HIGHLY-SKILLED NURSES. IN 2023, JACKSON GENERAL HOSPITAL HAD 12,512 EMERGENCY ROOM VISITS.
