PSHHMC WAS FORMED TO PROMOTE HEALTH THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF AN ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL AND THE PROVISION OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES IN HAMPDEN TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA.ACTIVITIES:PSHHMC WILL OPERATE A NEW 300,000-SQUARE-FOOT, THREE-STORY ACUTE CARE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL LOCATED ON PROPERTY ALONGSIDE INTERSTATE 81 IN HAMPDEN TOWNSHIP, PROVIDING CONVENIENT ACCESS TO CARE TO PENNSYLVANIA RESIDENTS OF CUMBERLAND COUNTY AND PERRY COUNTY (WHICH HAS NO HOSPITAL). CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOSPITAL COMMENCED IN EARLY 2019 AND IT IS SLATED TO OPEN IN SUMMER 2021.
