PROGRAM 1: POLICY IMPLEMENTATION EDUCATIONEXECUTED LEGISLATIVE IMPLEMENTATION EDUCATION AND COMMUNICATIONS CAMPAIGNS AS A COUNTERWEIGHT TO CORPORATE SPECIAL INTERESTS TO INFORM THE PUBLIC ABOUT LEGISLATION INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: NEVADA PUBLIC OPTION (SB-420), COLORADO OPTION (HB21-1232), AND COLORADO PRESCRIPTION DRUG AFFORDABILITY REVIEW BOARD & ADVISORY COUNCIL (SB 21-175). THE POLICIES EXPAND HEALTH CARE ACCESS AND LOWER PRESCRIPTION DRUG PRICES FOR TENS OF THOUSANDS OFRESIDENTS OF NEVADA AND COLORADO.
PROGRAM 2: PUBLIC HEALTH EDUCATION CAMPAIGNS THROUGHOUT 2021, THE ORGANIZATION EXECUTED PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS CAMPAIGNS, DEPLOYING MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC REGARDING VACCINES AND OTHER PANDEMIC-MITIGATION MEASURES. INCLUDED: RECRUITING PHYSICIANS AS SPOKESPEOPLE FOR LOCAL VACCINE EDUCATION COMMUNICATIONS, A MEDIA TRAINING PILOT PROGRAM FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS AT WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY, INTERVIEWS ON NATIONAL NEWS, AND FEATURES IN NATIONAL PRINT PUBLICATIONS.
