THE MISSION OF THE RURAL HEALTH INNOVATION COLLABORATIVE (RHIC) IS TO ADVANCE THE HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE INNOVATIVE, INTERPROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF CURRENT AND FUTURE HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS.

CONTINUED TO DEVELOP, IMPROVE AND EXPAND EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF CURRENT AND FUTURE HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS, ESPECIALLY THOSE COMMITTED TO SERVING RURAL AND UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS. THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING:DEVELOPED PATIENT SAFETY AND QUALITY INITIATIVES AND HAD INVOLVEMENT IN NATIONAL AND REGIONAL SIMULATIONS. ADDITIONAL RECEIVED ACCREDITATION IN TEACHING/EDUCATION AND SYSTEMS INTEGRATION.
CONTINUED THE CONTRACT WITH THE INDIANA HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION FOR TRAINING AND EDUCATION. THE CONTRACT INCLUDES 14 HOSPITALS FOR SERVICES.
