IT IS A BI-PARTISAN, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION PRIMARILY ENGAGED IN PROMOTING THE COMMON GOOD AND GENERAL WELFARE OF THE PEOPLE AND ENTITIES OF AMERICA'S PERMIAN BASIN. IT ENGAGES, GUIDES, AND SUPPORTS POLICY MAKERS AND ENGAGES IN POLICY ADVOCACY. IT SUPPORTS PROGRAMS AND POLICY THAT BENEFITS PERMIAN BASIN BUSINESSES, FAMILIES AND RESOURCES. IT EMPOWERS ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PERMIAN BASIN. THE COALITION SHARES KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE COMMON GOOD, FOR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC PROGRAMS, THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF FAMILIES, AND FOR THE SAFETY OF THOSE WHO WORK AND LIVE IN THE PERMIAN BASIN.

THE ORGANIZATION WORKS IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND IS ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN LITIGATION TO STOP THE LICENSING OF A HIGH-LEVEL NUCLEAR WASTE STORAGE FACILITY IN THE REGION WHERE THE ORGANIZATION'S MEMBERS LIVE AND WORK. THE ORGANIZATION MANAGED SOCIAL MEDIA, CONDUCTED INTERVIEWS, AND ACTIVELY PARTICIPATED IN COURT PROCEEDINGS IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS OBJECTIVES WHICH ARE TO PROTECT THE REGION OF THE PERMIAN BASIN FROM THE RISKS OF HIGH-LEVEL NUCLEAR WASTE.
