WE HAVE A LARGER STAFF WITH LICENSED PROFESSIONALS AND VOLUNTEERS. SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, DOCTORS' OFFICES, CHURCHES, AND OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS HAVE BECOME FAMILIAR WITH US AND OUR WORK IN THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. EDUCATORS AND PROVIDERS CAN NOW CONNECT WITH US VIA OUR WEBSITE OR SOCIAL MEDIA TO PROVIDE HELP TO THOSE IN NEED. AS A RESULT OF OUR OUTREACH WORK, WE HAVE PROVIDED MENTAL HEALTH AND EDUCATION SERVICES TO RURAL COMMUNITIES IN THE STATES OF ILLINOIS AND INDIANA. ADDITIONALLY, MANY BARRIERS TO CARE HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED FOR THOSE LIVING IN DISADVANTAGED AREAS AND RURAL COMMUNITIES. THE SERVICES AND EDUCATION WE PROVIDE CAN BE PROVIDED IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH. DUE TO THE SHUTDOWN AND PEOPLE'S CONCERNS ABOUT COVID, GETTING OUT INTO THE COMMUNITY AND INTO THE HOMES OF CLIENTS WAS CHALLENGING. AS A RESULT OF THE INCREASE IN OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE AND ENGAGEMENT, AS WELL AS THE CREATION OF NEWSLETTERS AND MAILINGS, THIS MISSION WAS ACCOMPLISHED. THE NUMBER OF CLIENTS WE SERVE HAS DOUBLED SINCE 2021. THE COMPANY SERVES 196 CLIENTS. IN ADDITION, WE HAVE INCREASED FUNDING, WHICH IS WHY WE NEEDED TO FILE A 990 FORM. AS OF YET, WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED GRANT FUNDING. THE GOAL IS TO CHANGE THIS WITH THE HELP OF A GOOD TAX PROFESSIONAL, A GRANT WRITER AND ADMINISTRATOR, AND A TEAM OF EXPERTS.
