GARSVP, INC. PROVIDES FREE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, PHYSICAL THERAPY , SPEECH THERAPY, COUNSELING, RECREATION THERAPY, CASE MANAGEMENT, PEER SUPPORT, NURSING AND MEDICAL CARE FOR UNINSURED PERSONS WITH ABI AND SPINAL CORD INJURIES. BETWEEN SEPT. 1, 2020 AND MARCH 1, 2021, 6 CLINICS HAVE BEEN HELD AND 15 PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES HAVE BEEN SERVED WITH THE AFOREMENTIONED SERVICES. ADDITIONALLY, THESE CLIENTS HAVE BEEN PROVIDED FREE BATHROOM EQUIPMENT, PROPER WHEELCHAIRS AND CUSHIONS TO MAXIMIZE THEIR MOBILITY AND INDEPENDENCE, AND TO PREVENT SKIN WOUNDS THROUGH DONATIONS FROM FODAC (FRIENDS OF DISABLED ADULTS AND CHILDREN) AND PARTNERING VENDORS. THE PRIMARY AND ONLY OBJECTIVE OF GARSVP IS TO MAXIMIZE WELLNESS, COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION, AND INDEPENDENCE FOR OUR CLIENTS WHICH HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISHED WITH ALL OF OUR CLIENTS WE HAVE SERVED. ACCOMPLISHMENTS, GOAL ACHIEVEMENT, AND TREATMENT PLANS ARE BEING TRACKED AND DOCUMENTED IN OUR DOCUMENTATION SYSTEM, GOAL MANAGER.
