WE MAINTAINED OUR CHILDCARE LICENSE WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, AS WELL AS OUR CONTRACT WITH THE EARLY LEARNING COALITION OF PALM BEACH COUNTY TO TEACH VPK. WE SERVED 53 CHILDREN AGES 3-5. CURRICULUM FOR THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDED KINDERGARTEN READINESS STANDARDS LIKE LITERACY, EMERGENT WRITING, MATHEMATICS CONCEPTS, STEM EXPERIMENTS, FINE AND GROSS MOTOR DEVELOPMENT, PROBLEM SOLVING, AS WELL AS SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT WITH CONSCIOUS DISCIPLINE. CHILDREN ENGAGED IN LEARNING THROUGH HANDS-ON METHODS, PARTICULARLY THROUGH ART, MUSIC AND MOVEMENT. WE CONDUCTED DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENTS AS WELL AS PARENT CONFERENCES AT THE BEGINNING AND END OF SCHOOL YEAR. PARENT EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDED A FAMILY LITERACY NIGHT, COMMUNITY TRUNK OR TREAT, RAISING A READER PARENT TRAINING, KINDERGARTEN READINESS INFORMATION NIGHT WITH REPRESENTATIVES FROM SCHOOLS AROUND THE COUNTY, VPK INFORMATION NIGHT WITH REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE (CONT.
