IT IS OUR BELIEF THAT MODERN MEDICINE AND THE ANCIENT PRACTICES OF YOGA, MEDITATION AND HUMANOLOGY ARE BOTH IMPORTANT COMPONENTS OF HEALTH RECOVERY. WE BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO LIVE A HEALTHY, HAPPY AND FULFILLED LIFE. OUR MISSION IS TO HELP PEOPLE ACHIEVE THIS BY WORKING TO TRANSFORM HEALTH CARE; BRINGING HOPE AND ENPOWERMENT TO PEOPLE WITH LIFE THREATENING OR CHRONIC ILLNESS AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH 1)DIRECT CLIENT SERVICES IN HEALTH EDUCATION, YOGA AND MEDITATION INSTRUCTION, AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT, 2)TRAINING HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS IN THESE METHODS, 3)CONDUCTING RESEARCH ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THESE METHODS ON HEALTH OUTCOMES, AND 4)BUILDING A GLOBAL NETWORK OF HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS, YOGA TEACHERS, AND YOGA AND MEDITATION RESEARCHERS TO PROVIDE COMPETENT, APPROPRIATE RESEARCH INFORMED INSTRUCTION IN KUNDALINI YOGA TO THOSE RECOVERING FROM ILLNESS.
