LONG-TERM POSITIVE IMPACT IN NEW MEXICO REQUIRES A NETWORKED APPROACH THAT INCLUDES NONPROFITS AND BUSINESSES TO FOUNDATIONS AND GOVERNMENT. THE NEW MEXICO ASSOCIATION OF GRANTMAKERS OFFERS SERVICES THAT INCLUDE RESEARCH, EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES, AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITS' MEMBERS THAT INCLUDE REPRESENTATIVES FROM A CROSS-SECTION OF PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS, PUBLIC CHARITIES, GOVERNMENTAL FUNDERS, PHILANTHROPY, NONPROFIT AND PRIVATE SECTOR ORGANIZATIONS SERVING THE PEOPLE IN THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES THE CENTER FOR NONPROFIT EXCELLENCE THAT SERVES AS A CENTRAL RESOURCE TO BUILD NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND CAPACITY IN THE STATE.
