THE FOUNDATION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN, FURNISHINGS, AND UPKEEP OF THE PUBLIC AREAS IN AND AROUND THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION. THE FOUNDATION AND ITS DEDICATED TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS KEEP THE BEAUTY AND LEGACY OF THE HISTORIC GOVERNOR'S HOME ALIVE THROUGH TOURS, EVENTS, AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH. APPROXIMATELY 103 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE SUMMER LUAU FUNDRAISING EVENT (ALOHA SANTA FE).APPROXIMATELY $350 FROM THE EDUCATION FUND WAS USED TO PAY FOR THE TRANSPORTATION AND FOOD COSTS FOR TOURS FOR THE SCHOOL STUDENTS.
