SERJOBS FOR PROGRESS NATIONAL, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION WITH THE MISSION TO ENABLE THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY AND OTHER UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS, TO FULLY PARTICIPATE IN THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC MAINSTREAM, ACHIEVING EQUAL ACCESS AND PARITY IN ALL ASPECTS OF AMERICAN SOCIETY.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAM IS PRINCIPALLY FUNDED BY CONTRIBUTIONS FROM CORPORATE DONORS TO IMPLEMENT A MULTI-STATE WORKFORCE SERVICES PROGRAM THAT WILL PROVIDE JOB TRAINING, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND CONSULTING SERVICES TO LOW INCOME WOMEN SEEKING EMPLOYMENT AND WOMEN POTENTIAL OWNERS OF SMALL BUSINESSES. SER IS IMPLEMENTING THE PROGRAM IN COORDINATION WITH ITS AFFILIATES.
THE EARLY HEAD START PROJECT PROMOTES SCHOOL READINESS BY ENHANCING CHILDRENS COGNITIVE SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT. THE PROGRAM SERVES PREGNANT WOMEN AND CHILDREN,AND THEIR FAMILIES, WHO ARE UNDER THE POVERTY LINE OR ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PUBLIC ASSISTANCE.
THE SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SCSEP) IS A COMMUNITY SERVICE AND WORK BASED TRAINING PROGRAM FOR OLDER WORKERS. AUTHORIZED BY THE OLDER AMERICANS ACT, THE PROGRAM PROVIDES SUBSIDIZED, SERVICE-BASED TRAINING FOR LOW-INCOME PERSONS 55 OR OLDER WHO ARE UNEMPLOYED AND HAVE POOR EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS.
