THE EDUCATION PROGRAM PROVIDES LIVE SEMINARS AS WELL AS A VIRTUAL REALITY UNIVERSITY ON ITS WEBSITE THAT ALLOWS MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS TO TAKE CLASSES. THE CLASSES, WHICH ARE OFFERED IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH, INCLUDE OSHA 10 AND 30 HOUR CLASSES AND SPECIALIZED CLASSES IN SAFETY AND HAZARD COMMUNICATION. COMMUNITY AND INDUSTRY EDUCATIONAL FORUMS ARE ALSO OFFERED IN NUMEROUS AREAS OF CONTSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS BY PROMOTING CAREER OPPORTUNITIES THAT WILL ATTRACT, MOTIVATE, AND DEVELOP SKILLED WORKERS. LASTLY, THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPED AND PROMOTED THE USE OF THE NM CONSTRUCTION AND RECYCLING GUIDE WHICH OUTLINES WASTE MANAGEMENT, RECYCLING RESOURCES, AND EXAMPLES OF PROJECTS BUILT IN NM USING RECYCLED MATERIALS.
THE ORGANIZATION'S TRAINING PROGRAMS ARE FUNDED BY THE NM STATE GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE COMPANY TRAINING INITIATIVES. ALSO, THE ORGANIZATION HAS PROVIDED EXTENSIVE SUPPORT IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING HIGH SCHOOL. THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS THE ACE LEADERSHIP IN HIGH SCHOOL. THE HIGH SCHOOL IS A FREE CHARTER SCHOOL THAT SPECIALIZES IN PREPARING STUDENTS FOR CAREERS IN ARCHITECTURE, CONSTRUCTION, AND ENGINEERING.
LEGISLATIVE PROGRAM: THE ORGANIZATION CONTRIBUTES TO A PAC FUND THAT MAKES POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS IN SOME YEARS AND IT LOBBIES THE NEW MEXICO STATE LEGISLATURE REGARDING ISSUES THAT AFFECT THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.
