MORE THAN 50 CAPITAL PROJECTS IN DENVER'S PARKS, INCLUDING RESTORATION AND NEW CONSTRUCTION, ICONIC PARK LANDMARKS AND LESSER KNOWN TREASURES. MORE THAN 60,000 TREES PLANTED THROUGH ONGOING PROGRAMS INCLUDING DENVER DIGS TREES, MILE HIGH TREE CHAMPIONS, AND THE PARK LEGACY PROGRAM. MANY THOUSANDS MORE STEWARDED THROUGH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND THE COMMUNITY FORESTER PROGRAM. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO MANAGES THE GATES TENNIS CENTER, AN AWARD-WINNING PUBLIC FACILITY. THE FISCAL YEAR, THE DEVELOPMENT OF TREEFORCE - NEW URBAN FORESTRY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, PREPARING INDIVIDUALS FACING BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT FOR CAREERS IN URBAN FORESTRY.
