THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO EQUIP YOUTH TO AVOID AND OVERCOME ADDICTION TO DRUGS AND ALCOHOL AND SUPPORT YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING THEIR RECOVERY AND TREATMENT JOURNEY.

WALL TALKS. STUDENTS WHO LACK POSITIVE ADULT INFLUENCES, EXPERIENCE CHANGING SOCIAL ENVIRONMENTS AND DO NOT FIT IN SOCIALLY, ARE AT A HIGHER RISK OF ENGAGING IN SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MISUSE. THESE WALL TALKS ARE RECORDED AND AVAILABLE IN THE FOUNDATIONS ONLINE COMMUNITY; AS WELL AS PROVIDED TO SCHOOLS, CHURCHES, AND COMMUNITY CENTERS. ON SEPTEMBER 27, 2022, DARREN WALLER AND THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED A SPEECH, HIS WALL TALK, TO NEARLY 300 SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN AT THE NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE IN NEVADA.


AGAINST THE WALL FUND - FOCUSED ON THE TREATMENT MANDATE OF THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION. AGAINST THE WALL IS A GRANT PROGRAM THAT WILL PROVIDE GRANTS TO QUALIFYING FAMILIES WHO CANNOT AFFORD A PORTION OR THE ENTIRETY OF THE 30-DAY TREATMENT FOR THEIR DEPENDENT'S (AGES 18 - 26) ADDICTION. THE PROGRAM WILL INITIALLY SERVE INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN NEVADA AND TREATMENT WILL TAKE PLACE IN NEVADA ADDICTION TREATMENT FACILITIES. THE PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES GRANTS FOR INDIVIDUALS TO RECEIVE AFTERCARE FOLLOWING THEIR INPATIENT TREATMENT, INCLUDING SOBER LIVING HOUSING AND INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS.
