Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
OUR ACTIVITIES IN 2021 FOCUSED ON CREATING AN ENDURING BOOST IN US VOTER TURNOUT THROUGH PERMANENTLY IMPROVING THE EFFICACY OF 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS' VOTER TURNOUT PROGRAMS. THE ORGANIZATION HAD TWO OUTCOMES IN MIND IN SUPPORT OF THIS GOAL: (I) REFINEMENT - LEARN AS MUCH AS WE COULD ABOUT IN-PERSON PLEDGE COLLECTION (AN OPPORTUNITY WE DID NOT HAVE IN 2020 DUE TO COVID) AND (II) RESEARCH - DETERMINE IF THERE IS A WAY TO BETTER MEASURE THE TRUE EFFICACY OF A VOTE TRIPLING PLEDGE. OUR EFFORTS ACHIEVED PROGRESS TO OUR GOAL BY (I) LEARNING AND CODIFYING REFINED BEST PRACTICES OF OUR TACTICS TO IMPROVE THEIR IMPACT AND (II) ESTABLISHING NEW WAYS TO MEASURE THE FULL EFFICACY OF VOTE TRIPLING, WHICH WILL INCREASE UPTAKE RATES BY 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS. WE HAD FOUR SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O)TOWARDS THIS GOAL. FIRST, WE COMPLETED MORE THAN 350 HOURS OF FIELD WORK OVER THREE MONTHS CULMINATING IN REFINEMENTS TO THREE TACTICS: (I) HIGH-TRAFFIC VOTE TRIPLING PLEDGE COLLECTION, (II) CANVASSING VOTE TRIPLING PLEDGE COLLECTION, AND (III) POLLING PLACE VOTE TRIPLING. SECOND, WE COMPLETED A PROOF-OF-CONCEPT FOR PAIRING VOTE TRIPLING PLEDGE COLLECTION WITH VOTER REGISTRATION, WHICH COULD BE CRUCIAL TO ENGAGING PARTNERS EARLY. THIRD, WE USED OUR LEARNINGS TO CREATE "[TACTIC] IN A BOX" FOR EACH OF OUR REFINED TACTICS - COMPREHENSIVE "ONE-STOP SHOP" DOCUMENTS FOR PARTNERS AS WE HEAD INTO 2022. FOURTH, WE COMPLETED AN RCT THAT YIELDED +/- 7,500 TRIPLER AND TRIPLEE NAMES TO BE MATCHED BACK TO THE VOTER FILE (RESULTS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE SPRING OF 2022), THE ANALYSIS OF WHICH WILL GET US MUCH CLOSER TO BEING ABLE TO ASCERTAIN THE TRUE POWER OF A VOTE TRIPLING PLEDGE AND REMINDER.
