HPCC'S MISSION STATEMENT IS TO PROMOTE HEALTH, HEALING, AND WHOLENESS BY PROVIDING HEALING TOUCH TO CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS, BY TRAINING AND SUPPORTING OUR HEALING TROUCH PROVIDERS, AND BY EXPANDING GROUP OF PROVIDERS AND BY EXTENDING HEALING TOUCH INTO NEW HEALTHCARE SETTINGS.DURING THIS 2021 YEAR OF COVID, WE ADAPTED THESE SERVICES, OFFERING A SAFE WAY FOR CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS TO RECEIVE HEALING TOUCH, USING THE OPTION OF REMOTE HEALING TOUCH SESSIONS. WITH THE ACCELERATING STRESS IN HEALTHCARE SETTINGS, WE SHIFTED TO PROMOTE AND PROVIDE HEALING TOUCH TO OUR FRONTLINE HEALTHCARE WORKERS BY PAIRING THESE NURSES AND DOCTORS WITH OUR PROVIDERS FOR FREE SESSIONS. DESPITE THESE CHALLENGES, WE MANAGED TO PROVIDE 580 HEALING TOUCH SESSIONS DURING 2021. ADDITIONALLY, WE SHIFTED OUR STAFF TRAININGS TO ZOOM MEETINGS, ALLOWING US TO OFFER OUTSTANDING ACCESS TO NATIONAL LEADERS IN INTEGRATIVE AND ENERGY THERAPIES.
