MOST OF THE COLLECTIONS ARE ON LOAN TO THE MUSEUM AND ARE OWNED BY RAYMOND BRINKMANN THE FOUNDER OF STONEWARE MUSEUM OF MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS. THE ORGANIZATION WAS CREATED PRIMARILY FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AND THE COLLECTIONS HOUSED AT THE MUSEUM SUPPORT THAT PURPOSE.
