TO SUPPORT ITS PHILANTHROPIC INITIATIVES, FELLOWSHIP SENIOR LIVING (FSL) CREATED THE FELLOWSHIP FOUNDATION ON JULY 16, 2019. FELLOWSHIP SENIOR LIVING IS THE SOLE MEMBER OF THE FOUNDATION. THE FORMATION OF THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES GREATER OPPORTUNITIES TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT FELLOWSHIP SENIOR LIVING BY ENHANCING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES AND UPGRADING AND EXPANDING THEIR PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND CAMPUS. WE ALSO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT BENEVOLENT CARE AND TEAM MEMBER EDUCATION AND EMERGENCIES.THROUGH A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT INITIATIVES, WE RAISE FUNDS FOR THE FOUNDATION TO DISPERSE TO FSL PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS. CURRENT INITIATIVES INCLUDE THE ANNUAL GALA, INDIVIDUAL DONATIONS (ANNUAL APPEAL), CORPORATE MATCHING GIFTS, PLEDGES, A CAR DONATION PROGRAM, MEMORIAL DONATIONS, BEQUESTS, NAMING OPPORTUNITIES, AND MEMBERSHIP IN THE MAIN STAGE SOCIETY. FELLOWSHIP FOUNDATION RAISES FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE FELLOWSHIP VILLAGE COMMUNITY, AS WELL AS HOME AND COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES. THESE SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO SENIORS THROUGHOUT NEW JERSEY AND INCLUDE HOME-HEALTH SERVICES, HOSPICE, FELLOWSHIP FREEDOM PLANS AND PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL AND SPEECH THERAPIES BOTH ON AND OFF CAMPUS. FELLOWSHIP VILLAGE IS HOME TO OVER 400 RESIDENTS ENJOYING LIFESTYLES FROM SINGLE FAMILY INDEPENDENT LIVING HOMES, VILLAS AND APARTMENTS TO ASSISTED LIVING, SKILLED NURSING AND MEMORY CARE HOMES. THE LIFE PLAN COMMUNITY (ALSO KNOWN AS CCRC) OFFERS A FULL COMPLEMENT OF LIFESTYLE ENHANCEMENTS, IN ADDITION TO FIVE-STAR DINING. THE ADDITION OF A NEW CULTURAL ARTS CENTER FEATURING A STATE-OF-THE-ART-THEATER, UPSCALE BAR & LOUNGE WITH ALFRESCO DINING, EXPANDED MEDICAL CENTER AND SPA AND FITNESS CENTER WILL ENSURE FELLOWSHIP VILLAGE REMAINS A LEADER IN SENIOR LIVING. THESE PROJECTS ARE SUPPORTED IN PART THROUGH THE SUPPORT OF THE FELLOWSHIP FOUNDATION.MOST RECENTLY, THE FOUNDATION DISPERSED $42,562 TO FELLOWSHIP SENIOR LIVING TO SUPPORT THE HEALTHCARE HEROES PROGRAM; A CAMPAIGN WHICH RAISED FUNDS TO OFFSET THE COSTS FELLOWSHIP INCURRED IN ORDER TO PURCHASE ESSENTIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND PROVIDE HAZARD PAY FOR FRONT LINE TEAM MEMBERS DURING THE RECENT PANDEMIC.
