LEAD OHIO FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF PROGRESSIVE LEADERS IN THE STATE OF OHIO. THE FOUNDATION FUNDS EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS THAT FURTHER ITS PURPOSES.

THE LEAD OHIO FOUNDATION SUPPORTS NUMEROUS ONE DAY TRAINING PROGRAMS, WEBINARS AND INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS BOTH IN PERSON AND VIRTUALLY THROUGH THE WOMEN LEADING OHIO PROGRAM AND THE BUCKEYE JUSTICE FORUM. THESE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO SUPPORT THOSE IN UNDERREPRESENTED GROUPS INCLUDING WOMEN, BIPOC, MILLENNIALS/GEN ZS, MEMBERS OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY, RURAL RESIDENTS, AND NEW AMERICANS. MUCH OF THE TRAINING WE PROVIDED IN 2021 WAS NECESSARILY DONE VIA VIDEO CONFERENCE, BUT GOING FORWARD, WE WILL LIKELY USE A MIX OF IN PERSON AND VIRTUAL OPTIONS.
