1.LUMINOUS WAS A POWERFUL CELEBRATION HONORING THE THINNING OF THE VEIL BETWEEN WORLDS, GIFTING US A UNIQUE WAY TO HONOR OUR ANCESTORS, THE BELOVED DEPARTED, AND EVEN ASPECTS OF OURSELVES THAT WE MAY HAVE BURIED. THROUGH STORY, SONG, COMMUNITY, A JOURNEY INTO THE EARTH AND OUR OWN HEARTS, LUMINOUS WAS A BEAUTIFUL BALM TO HELP BRING LIGHT TO THE DARKER MONTHS OF INTROSPECTION. 2.BLOOM WAS A SPECIAL SPRING EVENT THAT INVITED THE COMMUNITY TO ENTER INTO THE MAGICAL UNKNOWN AND CELEBRATE THE WONDER OF LIFE AND REBIRTH. TOGETHER WE PLANTED NEW DREAM SEEDS, WAKING UP TO THE MIRACLE OF OURSELVES, THE EARTH, THE COSMOS, AND THE TRANSFORMATIONAL CAPACITY OF OUR OWN HANDS AND HEARTS. BLOOM INVITED PEOPLE TO REMEMBER OUR INNATE SENSE OF BELONGING AS CREATURES OF THE EARTH AND HUMANITY. 3.CHRYSALIS CREATES SAFE SPACES FOR TEEN GIRLS TO FEEL HONORED AND CELEBRATED AS THEY STEP INTO THEIR MOST AUTHENTIC SELVES 4.SANKOFA: A TRADITIONAL AFRICAN CRAFTS SERIES THIS WORKSHOP SERIES EXPLORES TRADITIONAL CRAFTS, FIBERS, AND CREATIVE PRACTICES FROM MULTIPLE REGIONS OF AFRICA, WITH A FOCUS ON WEST AFRICA. 5. CREAR: CREATING A LATINA IMMIGRANT WOMENS COTTAGE INDUSTRY-THROUGH THIS PROGRAM, CIRCLE WORKS WITH A COMMUNITY OF WOMEN WHO RECENTLY IMMIGRATED FROM MEXICO, GUATEMALA AND EL SALVADOR WHO ARE NOW LIVING IN KINGSTON. 6.CRAFT PRESERVATION WORKSHOPS THIS ONGOING WORKSHOP SERIES IS DEDICATED TO CELEBRATING THE GLOBAL RICHNESS OF CULTURE AND CRAFT.
