SINCE 2019, MAINTENANCE FOR MOMS HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO ASSISTING SINGLE MOMS BY PROVIDING FREE VEHICLE REPAIRS IN SANTA CLARA COUNTY. WE HAVE GROWN FROM A DREAM TO A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION. WE BUILT A TEAM AND DEVELOPED AN EASY PROCESS FOR SINGLE MOMS TO APPLY FOR FREE VEHICLE REPAIR. WE HAVE ALSO PURCHASED SEVERAL NEW CARS AND DONATED VEHICLES TO MOMS WHOSE VEHICLES WERE NOT WORTH REPAIRING. THIS YEAR WE HAVE HAD 197 APPLICATIONS, REPAIRED 95 CARS, PURCHASED 15 NEW/USED CARS AND ENDED THE FISCAL YEAR WITH 6 APPLICATIONS IN PROCESS.

CAR REPAIRS. THIS YEAR AT MAINTENANCE FOR MOMS WE WERE ABLE TO REPAIR 95 VEHICLES FOR SINGLE MOMS WHOSE CARS WERE IN NEED OF MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR IN ORDER TO GET TO WORK AND THEIR CHILDREN TO SCHOOL AND DAY CARE. THE AVERAGE COST FOR A VEHICLE REPAIR WAS $1,444.
NEW CARS FOR CLIENTS. THIS YEAR AT MAINTENANCE FOR MOMS WE WERE ABLE TO PURCHASE 15 NEW (USED) VEHICLES FOR SINGLE MOMS WHOSE CARS WERE NOT WORTH REPAIRING AND ARE NEEDED TO GET TO WORK AND THEIR CHILDREN TO SCHOOL AND DAY CARE. THE AVERAGE COST FOR A VEHICLE WAS $6,977.
RESOURCES FOR MOMS. THIS YEAR WE PROVIDED RESOURCES (BOOKS, GAS GIFT CARDS, ESSENTIAL TOILETRY ITEMS) TO 106 SINGLE MOMS AS THEY ENTERED OUR PROGRAM FOR CAR MAINTENANCE. THIS IS AN ADDED WAY THAT WE PROVIDE FOR OUR CLIENTS.
