THE MAINE RE-ENTRY NETWORK EXISTS TO LIAISON BETWEEN MAINE'S COMMUNITIES AND THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN SEPARATED FROM THEM FOR ANY REASON, MOST COMMONLY INCARCERATION OR SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER. WE BELIEVE RECONCILIATION AND REINTEGRATION OF ALL LIVING WITHIN MAINE'S BORDERS INTO FULL COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP INEVITABLY LEADS TO REDUCED RELAPSE AND RECIDIVISM, COLLECTIVE REDEDICATION TO ONE ANOTHER AND OUR SHARED VALUES, AND ULTIMATELY A MORE VIBRANT AND PROSPEROUS MAINE.

LIVING OUR CREDO:IN 2023, WE WERE ABLE TO MOVE OUR VISION FORWARD BY CONDUCTING OVER 1,000 SUPPORT INTERACTIONS WITH 550 CLIENTS IN OUR VARIOUS PRORGRAMS. 128 OF OUR CLIENTS WERE RELEASED FROM PRISON THIS YEAR; ROUGHLY 30 RECEIVED RIDES HOME FROM US, AND 25 RECEIVED BOTH FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE WITH CELLULAR TELEPHONE SERVICES. 65 SECURED FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT AND ANOTHER 5 SUCCESSFULLY NAVIGATED APPLICATION FOR DISABILITY INSURANCE. 20 ENROLLED IN COLLEGE COURSES AND 40 WERE EDUCATED ABOUT WIOA AND QUEST WORKFORCE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES. NEARLY 50 OBTAINED SOME FORM OF SELF-SUFFICIENT, STABILIZED HOUSING. IN OUR TREATMENT COURT AND JAIL OUTREACH PROGRAMS, 43 CLIENTS GRADUATED FROM COURT-ORDERED RECOVERY PROGRAMS, WITH MORE THAN 50 PARTICIPANTS PER MONTH RECEIVING RECOVERY COACHING SERVICES. OVER 300 INDIVIDUALS VISITED THE AUGUSTA RECOVERY REENTRY CENTER, WITH AN AVERAGE 25 UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS RECEIVING RECOVERY COACHING EACH MONTH.
