SOUTH PLACER OVERNIGHT SHELTERTHE SOUTH PLACER EMERGENCY SHELTER IS A NOMADIC SHELTER LOCATED IN ROSEVILLE. THIS SHELTER WELCOMES INDIVIDUALS AS WELL AS FAMILIES. PARTNERSHIPS WITH CHURCHES THROUGHOUT PLACER COUNTY MAKE THIS UNIQUELY SPECIAL PROGRAM POSSIBLE BY TREATING GUESTS TO A MEAL AND A SAFE PLACE TO SLEEP. THIS IS ALL PROVIDED IN AN ATMOSPHERE OF ENCOURAGEMENT, CONNECTION, AND SECURITY. DURING THE DAY, GUESTS ARE PROVIDED WITH RESOURCES THAT MEET THEIR BASIC NEEDS, ENCOURAGE GROWTH, AND FOSTER ACCOUNTABILITY. ADDITIONALLY, A MEDICAL AND A DENTAL CLINIC ARE AVAILABLE ON SITE WEEKLY TO SERVE OUR GUESTS.

MEDICAL RESPITE CARE PROGRAM TGIS MEDICAL RESPITE PROGRAM OFFERS SHORT-TERM, POST-ACUTE CARE FOR MEDICALLY FRAGILE GUESTS TO CONNECT THEM WITH PRIMARY CARE, ENSURE FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS ARE KEPT, AND MEDICATION IS MANAGED PROPERLY. SHORT-TERM RESPITE CARE OFFERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO REST AND HEAL IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT WHILE ACCESSING MEDICAL CARE AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES WHICH INCLUDE CASE MANAGEMENT, RESOURCE NAVIGATION, AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES. ADDITIONALLY, THESE SERVICES AIM TO REDUCE READMISSION AND OVERUSE OF EMERGENCY ROOM SERVICES.
