THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS AN ANNUAL EVENT FOR STUDENTS OF TWO LOCAL PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS AND THEIR GUESTS FOLLOWING THEIR PROMS. THE FIVE HOUR EVENT IS ALCOHOL AND DRUG-FREE AND IS CHAPERONED WITH THE HELP OF CITY OF BOULDER POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS AND OVER 220 VOLUNTEERS. IT PROVIDES STUDENTS WITH FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT AS A SAFE ALTERNATIVE TO DRINKING AND DRIVING THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. OVER 1,200 STUDENTS ATTEND THE EVENT NORMALLY. DONORS INCLUDE LOCAL BUSINESSES, PARENTS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS, PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATIONS, AND CITY ORGANIZATIONS. THIS YEAR, THE EVENT WAS CANCELLED DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC. NO DONATIONS WERE RECEIVED. FUNDS WERE PROVIDED TO THE HIGH SCHOOL PTA ORGANIZATIONS TO PAY FOR CELEBRATORY GRADUATION ACTIVITIES FOR SENIOR STUDENTS AT EACH HIGH SCHOOL (APPROXIMATELY 1,000 STUDENTS.)
