FOSTERED LA PLATA COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ENGAGING BUSINESS OWNERS WITH AN ACTIVE WORKFORCE AND NEW RESIDENTS LOOKING TO OWN THEIR OWN HOME OR RELOCATE THEIR BUSINESSES IN LA PLATA COUNTY BY PROVIDING ECONOMIC DATA, RELEVANT INFORMATION, AND RESOURCES AT THE LOCAL, STATE & NATIONAL LEVELS. FACILITATED PUBLIC ENTITIES AND PRIVATE DEVELOPERS WORKING TOGETHER TO EXPAND PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE AND REDUCE DEVELOPMENT COSTS TO BRING MORE AFFORDABLE WORKFORCE HOUSING TO THE COMMUNITY. PUBLISHED A COUNTY-WIDE STUDY ON WORKFORCE HOUSING NEEDS AND SOLUTIONS.MANAGED AN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LA PLATA COUNTY, FORT LEWIS COLLEGE, AND PUEBLO COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO ASSIST WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AND BUSINESS GROWTH.FACILITATED EXTENDED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES TO THE AREA WORKFORCE AND LEADERSHIP THROUGH PROGRAMS, MEETINGS, AND AN ANNUAL SUMMIT EVENT.
