ORGANIZATION EXEMPT PURPOSE: REACHOUT CREST VIEW (ROCV) IS CHARTERED TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT, SCHOLARSHIP NEEDS AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS, PROVIDE ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS TO DEVELOP AND STRENGTHEN THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY

FORM 990-EZ, PART III, LINE 28: REACHOUT CRESTVIEW(ROCV) SERVES THE CREST VIEW COMMUNITY OF ABOUT 425 STUDENTS AND 325 FAMILIES. IT RUNS ANNUAL CAMPAIGNS TO SOLICIT DONATIONS FROM OUR FAMILIES AND LOCAL BUSINESSES, TARGETING $200-250 PER STUDENT. THESE DONATIONS FUND ADDITIONAL PARAPROFESSIONAL STAFF AT THE SCHOOL, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS, AND PROGRAMS TO PROMOTE A VIBRANT AND INCLUSIVE SCHOOL COMMUNITY. THE SCHOOL HAS A DIVERSE POPULATION, WITH A QUARTER OF OUR STUDENTS RECEIVING FREE OR REDUCED LUNCH. TO PROMOTE EQUITY AMONG OUR FAMILIES, ROCV PROVIDES FIELD TRIP SCHOLARSHIPS, PAYS FOR ADDITIONAL PARAPROFESSIONAL TUTORING HOURS, FUNDS A HOLIDAY GIFT PROGRAM, AND HAS A FOOD PANTRY AND RUNS A WEEKEND FOOD BAG PROGRAM FOR ABOUT 60 FAMILIES. IN ADDITION TO FAMILY SUPPORT, ROCV SUPPORTS CREST VIEWS 60 STAFF MEMBERS WITH APPRECIATION EVENTS, VOLUNTEER COORDINATION, AND A GRANTS PROGRAM TO PAY FOR AD HOC CLASSROOM EXPENSES.
