BOTH PATIENTS AND SIBLINGS CAN RECAPTURE THE SPONTANEITY OF BEING CHILDLIKE WHICH CANCER HAS STOLEN FROM THEM - AT NO CHARGE TO THEIR FAMILIES. WHILE CAMPERS ARE SAFE AND HAVING FUN, PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS TAKE RESPITE WHICH IS AN INTEGRAL STEP IN CONTINUED MENTAL HEALING FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.

WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY CHILD, REGARDLESS OF THEIR HEALTH CONDITION OR ABILITIES, DESERVES THE CHANCE TO EXPERIENCE THE JOY AND CAMARADERIE THAT A SUMMER CAMP CAN OFFER. CAMP WAPIYAPI IS DESIGNED NOT ONLY FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER, BUT ALSO THEIR SIBLINGS WHO FACE UNIQUE CHALLENGES OF THEIR OWN. THANKS TO OUR GENEROUS COMMUNITY OF SUPPORTERS, EVERY CHILD ATTENDS FREE OF CHANGE WHILE THEIR PARENTS TAKE A MUCH-NEEDED RESPITE. THIS YEAR'S CAMP SEASON INCLUDED TWO WEEK-LONG RESIDENTIAL SUMMER CAMPS IN THE MOUNTAINS, A VIRTUAL WEEKEND, AND A FAMILY REUNION.
