PRESERVATION OF HISTORICAL STRUCTURES TO BECOME A DESTINATION; A PLACE WHERE THE OLD WEST LIVES. THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PRESERVE AN HISTORIC LANDMARK IN THE WET MOUNTAIN VALLEY BY RESTORING AND PRESERVING THE BECKWITH RANCH HOUSE AND ASSOCIATED BUILDINGS.

TO PRESERVE THE HISTORIC LANDMARK AND PROTECT RANCHING HERITAGE IN THE WET MTN VALLEY AND TO FOSTER EDUCATION OF THE LOCAL HISTORY OF RANCHING AND THE AMERICAN WEST.BY RESTORING THE BECKWITH RANCH HOUSE, THE BUNKHOUSE, THE OUT BUILDINGS AND THE CORRALS TO THEIR LATE 19TH CENTURY CONDITION, WE WILL RECAPTURE THE ROMANCE OF THE OLD WESTS RANCHING HERITAGE. VISITORS TO THE WET MOUNTAIN VALLEY WILL EXPERIENCE WHAT THE BECKWITH FAMILY, GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES EXPERIENCED 125 YEARS AGO. WORLDWIDE, THE MOST RECOGNIZABLE PIECE OF AMERICANA IS THE WILD WEST. BECKWITH RANCH WILL BE A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE FOR TOURISTS, SCOUTS, EDUCATORS, HISTORY BUFFS AND FOLKS WHO LONG FOR A WAY OF LIFE THAT DISAPPEARED OVER A CENTURY AGO. IT WILL BE A LEGACY FOR THE DESCENDANTS OF THE BRAVE FAMILIES WHO SETTLED THE WET MOUNTAIN VALLEY. CURRENTLY USED BY THE COMMUNITY AS AN AUTHENTIC WESTERN FACILITY.


THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS TOURS OF THEIR HISTORIC FACILITY, HOSTS COMMUNITY EVENTS AT THEIR HISTORIC FACILITY AND WEDDINGS ARE CONDUCTED ON THE GROUNDS. THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS EVENTS ON SITE FOR LOCAL NON PROFIT AGENCIES AS WELL AS COMMUNITY BUILDING ACTIVITIES. ALL EVENTS IN AND AROUND THE FACILITY ARE CARRIED OUT WITH VOLUNTEER SERVICES. IN 2023, 41 VOLUNTEERS MADE IT ALL HAPPEN PUTTING IN OVER 6,000 HOURS.
