THE DONOR ALLIANCE FOUNDATION MISSION IS TO BUILD PARTNERSHIPS AND BREAK DOWN BARRIERS TO INFLUENCE CHANGE THAT WILL POSITIVELY AFFECT THE DONATION AND TRANSPLANT COMMUNITY. OUR VISION IS TO ENSURE THOSE AFFECTED BY ORGAN AND TISSUE DONATION ARE ACKNOWLEDGED, SUPPORTED AND GIVEN ACCESS TO RESOURCES THAT ENABLE THE GIFT OF LIFE.

THE DONOR ALLIANCE FOUNDATION PROVIDES FUNDING FOR EDUCATION RELATED TO DONATION AND TRANSPLANTATION. THIS FUNDING IS A PATHWAY FOR RESOURCES AND ACCESS TO SERVICES FOR NONPROFIT COMMUNITY HEALTH-SERVING ORGANIZATIONS, FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CENTERS, GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES AND OTHER NONPROFIT SERVICE PROVIDERS.
THE DONOR ALLIANCE FOUNDATION PROVIDES FUNDING FOR GRIEF ASSISTANCE AND COMPASSION SUPPORT FOR DONOR FAMILIES AND OTHERS IN NEED THROUGH NONPROFIT COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVING ORGANIZATIONS, FAMILY ASSISTANCE AND OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS DOING WORK WITH DONATION AND TRANSPLANTATION. IT WILL MEET THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE OR FAMILIES REQUIRING ASSISTANCE, WHO ARE WAITING FOR A TRANSPLANT THROUGH FOOD VOUCHERS, HOUSING AND MEDICATION ASSISTANCE, ETC. AND THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE OR FAMILIES REQUIRING ASSISTANCE POST-TRANSPLANT. IT AIMS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF LIVING DONORS AND POTENTIAL LIVING DONORS THROUGH FOOD VOUCHERS, HOUSING ASSISTANCE, ETC. AND PROVIDE FUNDING TO SOCIAL WORKERS TO SUPPORT PEOPLE OR FAMILIES REQUIRING ASSISTANCE WITH HOUSING, MEDICATION, FOOD, ETC.
THE DONOR ALLIANCE FOUNDATION PROVIDES FUNDING FOR SOCIAL AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY TO SUPPORT ADVANCEMENTS AND INNOVATION IN THE FIELD OF ORGAN DONATION AND TRANSPLANTATION. GIVEN THE AMOUNT OF DOLLARS AVAILABLE, TYPICALLY THESE ARE SEED GRANTS TO GATHER DATA AND INFORMATION TO APPLY FOR LARGER, NATIONAL FUNDING.
