THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A FACILITY WHICH HAS WEAPONS FIRING RANGES AND CLASSROOMS FOR INSTRUCTION. THE FACILITY IS CURRENTLY USED FOR TRAINING BY APPROXIMATELY 64 CITY, COUNTY, STATE AND FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES WITH OVER 2,800 ANNUAL USERS. CIVIC ACTIVITIES FOR GROUPS INCLUDING BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA, CIVIL AIR PATROL, AND 4-H CLUBS ARE ALSO PROVIDED AT THE FACILITY.
THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS FULL COLORADO PEACE OFFICER STANDARDS AND TRAINING (POST) ACADEMY TRAINING DESIGNED TO DEVELOP HIGHLY TRAINED PEACE OFFICERS IN A PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT THAT IS CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING, WITH EMPHASIS ON LEADERSHIP, RESPECT, AND SERVICE. THE ORGANIZATION ADDITIONALLY OFFERS REFRESHER ACADEMY TRAINING FOR COLORADO POST CERTIFICATIONS.
