THE CONNECTIONS MUSEUM SEATTLE DISPLAYS THE NATION'S LARGEST COLLECTION OF WORKING HISTORIC TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT INCLUDING MANY TYPES OF CENTRAL OFFICE SWICHBOARDS,MANUAL SWITCHBOARDS, TELETYPE MACHINES, LONG DISTANCE TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT, RADIOS AND TELEPHONE SETS. WE ALSO DISPLAY ARTIFACTS AND HISTORIC INTERIOR FURNISHINGS IN OUR SMALL MUSEUM IN DOWNTOWN DENVER. DOCENT GUIDED TOURS ARE CONDUCTED IN BOTH LOCATIONS.
THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS HISTORY GROUP PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO TEACHERS THROUGH ONLINE CONTENT ON OUR WEB SITE AND THROUGH OUR SUPPORT OF THE COLORADO NATIONAL HISTORY DAY PROGRAM.
