THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER TASK FORCE SERVES TO MOBILIZE UNIFIED PUBLIC PRAYER FOR AMERICA THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER ON THE FIRST THURSDAY OF MAY AND THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. OUR 18,000 VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS, HOLD TENS OF THOUSANDS OF LOCAL COMMUNITY EVENTS IN EVERY STATE AND U.S. TERRITORY. WE ALSO PRODUCE AND BROADCAST THE ANNUAL NATIONAL PRAYER GATHERING, WHICH THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH MAJOR CHRISTIAN TELEVISION AND RADIO NETWORKS AND STATIONS SUCH AS DAYSTAR, GODTV, REVELATION TV, CBN, BOTT, SALEM, AND MOODY, REACHES INTO OVER 110 MILLION U.S. HOMES AND CLOSE TO 600 MILLION HOMES IN OVER 200 COUNTRIES EACH YEAR, WITH A CALL TO PRAYER AND A CLEAR PRESENTATION OF THE GOSPEL. (CONTINUED ON SCH O)IN ADDITION, WE PRODUCE AND DISTRIBUTE RESOURCES THAT PROMOTE OUR ANNUAL THEME AND ENGAGEMENT FOR AND IN PRAYER THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND PROMOTE COLLABORATIVE INITIATIVES WITH OTHER MINISTRIES AROUND PRAYER THROUGH OUR WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA. OUR MAILINGS THAT INCLUDE JOINT COSTS WITH OUR MAILING PARTNERS, FOCUS PREDOMINANTLY (85 TO 90%) ON OUR PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVE, DIRECT SERVICES TO OUR COORDINATORS, EQUIPPING FOR PRAYER, AWARENESS AND ENGAGEMENT CAMPAIGNS FOR MOBILIZATION ON THE ANNUAL NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, WITH A MINOR EMPHASIS (10-15%) ON DEVELOPING OUR PARTNERS IN GIVING FOR FUNDING OUR MINISTRY WORK.
