ADVOCATES IS A NON-PROFIT, VOLUNTEER-BASED ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT IN THE GRAND COUNTY COMMUNITY. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS MISSION WE PROVIDE EXTENSIVE VICTIM SUPPORT SERVICES, INFORMATION, PREVENTION EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY AWARENESS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

IN 2021, ADVOCATES HAD 81 NEW CLIENTS, 34 REPEAT CLIENTS, AND 420 ON-GOING CALLS FOR ASSISTANCE FROM VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT. WE PROVIDED SAFE HOUSING TO 14 VICTIMS AND CHILDREN FOR A COMBINED 78 NIGHTS. WE MET ON SCENE WITH CLIENTS 16 TIMES, AND ATTENDED COURT 12 TIMES. WE PROVIDED SAFETY PLANS TO 7 VICTIMS. CLIENT NUMBERS HAVE MOSTLY RETURNED TO PRE-PANDEMIC LEVELS.
