THE FOUNDATION IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION FORMED TO PLAN, ORGANIZE, INSTITUTE AND ADMINISTER PROJECTS THAT PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR LONGMONT UNITED HOSPITAL AND THE COMMUNITY IT SERVES. THE FOUNDATION FINANCES ITS OPERATIONS THROUGH DONATIONS AND INVESTMENT EARNINGS. LARGE PROJECTS IN 2022 INCLUDED SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS TO INDIVIDUALS ADVANCING A CAREER IN THE HEALTH CARE FIELDS, RENOVATION OF THE HOSPITAL ATRIUM AND BIRTHPLACE, AND GRANTS PROVIDED TO OTHER HEALTH CARE GROUPS. OTHER SIGNIFICANT 2022 PROJECTS INVOLVED GRANTS TO HELP PURCHASE EQUIPMENT FOR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS WITHIN THE HOSPITAL.
