WE ENVISION A STRONG AND SUSTAINABLE NONPROFIT SECTOR LEADING OUR STATE TOWARDS A MORE JUST FUTURE. OUR MISSION IS TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES, TOOLS AND STRATEGIES TO DEVELOP NONPROFITS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS TO STRENGTHEN COLORADO.

COLORADO'S COVID CONTAINMENT RESPONSE CORPS (CCRC) - THE CCRC IS A STATEWIDE EFFORT ENGAGING LOCAL PUBLIC HEALTH AGENCIES, NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND BUSINESS LEADERS ACROSS THE STATE TO CONTAIN THE SPREAD OF COVID-19. IN 2021, CRC RECRUITED, ENROLLED, AND SUPPORTED A TOTAL OF 106 AMERICORPS STATE AND NATIONAL MEMBERS, WHO SERVED 67,652 HOURS. MEMBERS WERE CALLED UPON TO COORDINATE SCHOOL TESTING PROGRAMS, SCHEDULE VACCINE CLINICS, SUPPORT LONG TERM CARE FACILITIES IN HOSTING BOOSTER CLINICS AND RECORDING ACCURATE VACCINATION DATA, ASSIST IN SETTING UP MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY TREATMENT SITES ACROSS THE STATE, AND PROVIDE ACCURATE VACCINATION INFORMATION TO COLORADOANS THROUGH THE COLORADO IMMUNIZATION INFORMATION SYSTEM (CIIS) HELPDESK.
AMERICORPS VISTA RURAL CAPACITY BUILDING PROJECT - THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES HUMAN CAPITAL IN THE FORM OF AMERICORPS VISTA MEMBERS TO CRC AND RURAL NONPROFITS ACROSS COLORADO TO BUILD ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY AND REDUCE POVERTY. VISTA MEMBERS SERVE A ONE-YEAR TERM AND VOLUNTEER IN CRC'S DENVER OFFICE AND WITH PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS IN RURAL COLORADO. IN 2021, CRC PLACED 26 MEMBERS IN SERVICE TO 29 HOST SITES, WHO CONTRIBUTED 49,400 HOURS.
TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE - CRC WORKS WITH INDIVIDUALS, ORGANIZATIONS AND COMMUNITIES TO INCREASE CAPACITY OF NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND TO ENSURE THAT THEYA RE WELL MANAGED, ACCOUNTABLE FOR PERFORMANCE AND DELIVER ON THEIR MISSION. THROUGH CRC'S STATEWIDE TRAINING PROGRAM, CRC HOSTS HALF AND FULL DAY WORKSHOPS, ROUNDTABLES, AND EVENTS COVERING A WIDE VARIETY OF NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT BEST PRACTICES DESIGNED TO EQUIP PARTICIPANTS WITH SKILLS AND STRATEGIES NEEDED TO MEET THEIR ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS. TRAININGS ARE PRESENTED THROUGHOUT COLORADO. CRC OFFERED 47 TRAININGS AND ROUNDTABLES, WITH 1,721 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE DURING 2021.
