SECTION 8 VOUCHERS- ADMINISTRATION OF THE FEDERAL SECTION 8 RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. ELIGIBLE HOUSEHOLDS RECEIVE A VOUCHER WHICH ALLOWS THEM TO LEASE A HOME OR APARTMENT WITH RENTAL ASSISTANCE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE LANDLORD.
FARM LABOR HOUSING DUPLEXES- PROVIDES HOUSING TO FARM WORKERS IN OLATHE, COLORADO, IN RESPONSE TO THE NEEDS OF THE AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY FOR A RELIABLE SOURCE OF FARM LABOR WORKERS. CONSTISTS OF 12 DUPLEXES BUILT ON SCATTERED SITES THOUGHOUT OLATHE, INCLUDING 24 THREE- AND FOUR- BEDROOM FAMILY RENTAL UNITS.
OLATHE MEADOWS- 24 UNIT SENIOR HOUSING PROJECT IN OLATHE, COLORADO THAT HAS HAD A ZERO-VACANCY RATE SINCE OPENING IN 1982. CONSISTS OF SIX ONE-STORY FOURPLEX UNITS. SEVERAL UNITS PROVIDE HANDICAP ACCOMODATIONS.
