THE OBJECTIVES AND AIMS OF THE UNION ARE THE DEVELOPMENT OF A HIGHER DEGREE OF SKILL AND EFFICIENCY, THE MAINTENANCE OF DISCIPLINE, CAREFUL OBSERVANCE OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, CULTIVATION OF A CLOSER DEGREE OF FRIENDSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP AMONG ITS MEMBERS IN ORDER TO SECURE FOR THE MEMBERSHIP THE INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL, AND ECONOMIC PRIVILEGES THAT ARE DUE TO ALL PERSONS, AND TO OBTAIN PROPER REMUNERATION FOR SERVICES RENDERED.
