IN 2018 THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ADOPTED ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE WHEREIN THE STRENGTHS OF PEOPLE ARE IDENTIFIED THROUGH THE TERM DIVERSELY ABLED. THESE PROGRAM OFFERINGS RANGE FROM RESIDENTIAL SERVICES EXPRESSED THROUGH HOST HOMES AND PERSONAL CARE ALTERNATIVES, WHICH ARE TYPICAL HOUSES IN TYPICAL NEIGHBORHOODS PROVIDING 24/7 CARE FOR UP TO 3 PEOPLE AT A TIME, TO VOCATIONAL AND PRE-VOCATIONAL SERVICES WHERE PEOPLE CHOOSE AND THEN WORK TOWARDS THEIR PERSONAL VOCATIONAL GOALS, TO DAY PROGRAM CLASSES WHICH ARE FOCUSED ON VOCATIONAL, PERSONAL, AND RECREATIONAL SKILL BUILDING AND EXPERIENCES.
