YOUTH PEACE ENTERPRISES INCORPORATED NFP IS A MENTORING AND YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION. OUR MISSION IS TO UTILIZE EDUCATION, THE ARTS AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AS TOOLS FOR POSITIVE CHANGE. OUR PRIMARY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE HERSTORY: MY SISTERS KEEPER PROGRAM WHICH SERVES YOUNG WOMEN AND GIRLS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 16-24. THIS PROGRAM PARTNERS WITH VARIOUS CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOR 12-16 WEEK RESIDENCIES WHICH COMPRISES OF SPOKEN WORD WORKSHOPS, CULTURAL FIELD TRIPS AND COMMUNITY SERVICE INVOLVEMENT.
