THE MISSION OF STARTUPAZ IS TO BUILD A LOCAL COMMUNITY OF ENTREPRENEURS THAT WANT TO MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT IN ARIZONA.

STARTUPAZ HAS DESIGNED SIGNATURE INITIATIVES TO ACCELERATE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE HIGHEST POTENTIAL STARTUP COMPANIES IN THE REGION. EMERGING LEADERS MAKE A 12-MONTH COMMITMENT TO EACH OTHER TO COMBINE THEIR TALENTS, NETWORKS, AND RESOURCES TO HELP EACH OTHER ACHIEVE SUCCESS IN BUILDING THEIR COMPANIES AND CREATING LASTING IMPACT IN THE COMMUNITY. IN 2022 STARTUPAZ HELPED 29 NEW ENTREPRENEURS GROW THEIR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS PROGRAM. THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTED A COMMUNITY OF MORE THAN 40 BUSINESSES WITH VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON EDUCATIONAL AND MENTORING SESSIONS. THE BUSINESSES SUPPORTED BY START-UP AZ ACCOUNTED FOR MORE THAN 1700 JOBS AND 200M IN REVENUE AND ECONOMIC IMPACT. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTED A DOZEN LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS AND EVENTS AND CO-SPONSORED THE 1.5M EMERGEAZ FAST GRANT WHICH HELPED BUSINESSES STRUGGLING WITH COVID TO RETAIN JOBS AMID SUSTAINED MARKET LOSSES. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED TO CONVENE VARIOUS IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL EVENTS TO SUPPORT HUNDREDS OF ENTREPRENEURS AND COMMUNITY SUPPORTERS.
