MBE CERTIFICATION: REVIEW PROCESS USED TO DETERMINE IF A BUSINESS IS ELIGIBLE FOR CERTIFIED MBE STATUS. CERTIFICATION PROVIDES CORPORATE BUYERS WITH THE ASSURANCE THEY SEEK IN IDENTIFYING U.S. QUALIFIED BUSINESSES THAT ARE CONTROLLED AND OPERATED BY AN ETHNIC MINORITY INDIVIDUAL.
EVENTS: WRMSDC HOSTS A VARIETY OF EVENTS FOR OUR CORPORATE MEMBERS AND CERTIFIED MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (MBES). THESE EVENTS PROVIDE AN EXCELLENT FORUM FOR OUR MBES TO MEET, NETWORK AND CONNECT WITH OTHER MBES AND CORPORATIONS, AS WELL AS RECEIVE VALUABLE TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT TO GROW THEIR BUSINESSES AND BUILD THE SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES NEEDED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR CORPORATE MEMBERS.
ANNUAL MINORITY BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY EXPO: THE EXPO PROVIDES A DYNAMIC FORUM FOR MBES TO NETWORK, LEARN, AND MARKET THEIR CAPABILITES TO OUR CORPORATE MEMBERS. THE CORPORATE MEMBERS HOST CATEGORY/INDUSTRY SPECIFIC BREAKOUT ROOMS TO PROVIDE OVERVIEWS ON BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ENGAGEMENT AND ADDRESS QUESTIONS FROM MBES. ADDITIONALLY, ALL PARTICIPANTS HAVE ACCESS TO HEAR FROM INDUSTRY EXPERTS ON BEST PRACTICES WITHIN THE MARKET AS WELL AS EXPOSURE TO DEVELOPMENT TRAINING, AND PARTICIPATE IN STRATEGIC PRE-SCREENED ONE ON ONE MATCHMAKING SESSIONS WHICH MAKES FOR AN OUTSTANDING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY EVENT.
