GRANTS WERE PROVIDED TO SMALL BUSINESS AGENCIES THE 4TH QUARTER OF 2021 FOR PROGRAM PERFORMANCE IN 2021. THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES OF THESE GRANTS INCLUDING BUSINESS IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO INCLUDING 1500 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVING SMALL BUSINESS TRAINING AND COUNSELING. THIS WILL RESULT IN THE CREATION OF 60 NEW BUSINESSES, 65 NEW JOBS, AND $750,000 IN CAPITAL. PUBLIC EDUCATION, MARKETING, AND OUTREACH TO ENCOURAGE SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS TO ACCESS BUSINESS RESOURCES AND CAPITAL IN ORDER TO GROW THEIR BUSINESSES. 11,353 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED BUSINESS TRAINING, 4,235 RECEIVED BUSINESS COUNSELING, 21,208 JOBS WERE CREATED AND SUPORTED INTHE REGION. IN ADDITION, SMALL BUSINESS CDFIS HELPED 1,025 BUSINESSES ACCESS $34,340,866 IN CAPITAL.
