THRIVE ED'S PURPOSE IS TO FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM EDUCATION BY POWERING TEACHERS, LEADERSHIP TEAMS, AND STUDENTS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY, TO THRIVE IN SCHOOL AND LIFE AND IN A GLOBAL SOCIETY, AND TRANSFORM EDUCATION AS WE KNOW IT THROUGH INNOVATION AS PROBLEMSOLVERS, PROVIDING INCREASED OPPORTUNITY FOR THOSE TRADITIONALLY UNDERSERVED IN SCHOOLS, AND EXPANDING POSSIBILITIES FOR LEARNERS IN A REWARDING ACADEMIC JOURNEY THAT BROADENS PERSPECTIVES AND INTELLECT AND PREPARES DYNAMIC LEADERS OF THE NEXT GENERATION.

THRIVE ED BUILT PROTOTYPES FOR FIVE ELEMENTS OF TRANSFORMATION, INCLUDING RESTORATIVE PRACTICE, CO-DESIGN, AND COMPETENCY/ASSESSMENT/GRADING REBRANDING. ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH HOPKINS HIGH SCHOOL GENERATED AN INNOVATIVE SCHOOL MODEL THAT LIVED WITHIN THE DISTRICT BUT DISRUPTED MANY STRUCTURES AND SYSTEMS THAT OFTEN STAND IN THE WAY OF DEEP AND SUSTAINABLE TRANSFORMATION. THE COLLABORATIVE LEARNING SCHOOL ENGAGED 40 STUDENTS IN A COLLABORATIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AND DESIGN2THRIVE DEVELOPED AN ENTIRELY NEW WAY OF PROFESSIONAL LEARNING. THE DESIGN2THRIVE STUDIOS BECAME A PLACE WHERE UP TO 97% OF STUDENTS REPORTED HAVING THE SPACE TO THINK AND PROCESS NEW INFORMATION AND INDICATED THEY FELT SUPPORT IN THEIR LEARNING ENVIRONMENT.
